The Gallup organization periodically sends me e-mails with a list of topics and articles attached. However, they only send the first paragraph or two for free – if I want the whole thing, I have to pay. That may work for you.
I kinda like your idea of selling consulting services to a select subset of your members. The trick will be finding enough managers who are junior enough to believe they have something to learn and senior enough that they have signing authority to hire consultants.
Loss leaders, as Lloyd said above. Whats your loss leader? The podcast? The articles? The bundles? Pick one, sell the rest. First hit is free. We enjoy your podcasts, and in them you talk about these bundles that are available. You’re setting us up and getting us interested, even expecting to go to your site to find something to purchase, but then we get there and its all free, or the bundles arent there yet. Sell me a bundle.
